2017 Wildlife Camp
Dates: July 23-28, 2017
Meets: Dropoff SUN 3-5pm; Pickup FRI approx 12 Noon

Wildlife Camp is open to high school students ages 15-18. Students will learn fundamental concepts, issues, and concerns related to wildlife food, history of wildlife conservation in North America, and the conservation problems that have arisen, and the laws and practices that have evolved to remedy them. Campers will also gain exposure to data analysis tools commonly used in wildlife sciences as well as laboratory techniques used to manage wildlife populations, including censoring, habitat mapping, prescribed burning, GIS and computer simulation.
Students will experience campus-life while residing in Auburn's resident dormitories, eating at campus dining facilities, and enjoying evening social and recreational activities. Camp participants will have 24/7 counselor supervision.
This camp is intended for rising 9-12 graders only.
