Join us for a Writer's Workshop with Janisse Ray on Saturday, February 8, 2020. The workshop
will be held at Pebble Hill, 101 Debardeleben, Auburn, AL 36830. The fee is $75 for OLLI members and $100 for non-OLLI members. Lunch will be included with the workshop.
Janisse Ray is an American author whose work often grapples with the beauty, intricacy, and heartbreak of the biosphere. She has published five books of literary nonfiction, including the acclaimed Ecology of a Cracker Childhood and The Seed Underground. She has received an American Book Award and the Arlene Eisenberg Award for Writing that Makes a Difference, among many others. She holds an MFA from the University of Montana and two honorary doctorates. She has served as writer-in-residence at many universities, most recently Hollins. Her translated work has been published in France and Turkey. She lives in coastal Georgia.
