Phi Beta Kappa Lecture: Sacred Disruptions

Join Auburn’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa for a special lecture featuring Dr. Kevin Hughes, Professor of Theology at Villanova University. His talk, Sacred Disruptions: Caravaggio, Mysticism, and the Catholic Counter-Reformation, explores the artist’s radical vision and its influence on spirituality and art in early modern Europe.

Dr. Hughes has taught at Villanova since 1997 and was a founding member of its Humanities Department. His scholarship bridges theology, history, and culture from Late Antiquity through the early modern era, and he is a frequent commentator on Catholicism and contemporary culture.

OLLI will provide complimentary van transportation from Sunny Slope for members who RSVP. The van will depart Sunny Slope at 4:30 pm.
