This course explores the practical and creative aspects of mending garments and cloth. Over three hands-on sessions, participants will learn the square woven mend, a darning technique used to repair holes and reinforce worn areas in knit and woven fabrics. Drawing inspiration from artists Celia Pym and Hikaru Noguchi, the course focuses on imaginative mending of socks while building skills that can be applied to a variety of textiles. No previous experience is required.
