Follow the dramatic maneuvers between Union General William T. Sherman and Confederate General Joseph Johnston in the campaign that determined the fate of Atlanta in 1864. The course examines the strategies, tactics, and logistical challenges of both sides and the lasting consequences of Sherman’s victory and his infamous “March to the Sea.”
About the Instructor:
John Mason is an avid researcher and writer who enjoys studying military history. In retirement, he devotes his time to reading, traveling, and exploring the stories history left behind.
