Substack is a fast-growing platform that allows writers to share their ideas, essays, and newsletters directly with readers—no ads or algorithms, just a direct connection between writer and audience. In this two-session, hands-on workshop, participants will create their own Substack accounts, set up publications, and learn how to post, share, and explore features that make Substack an accessible tool for any writer. The second session will offer time for discussion, questions, and guided exploration based on participants’ experiences using the platform.
Participants should bring a laptop or tablet with internet access. Tables will be provided for hands-on work.

Mary Dansak is an Auburn University alumna and an experienced writer and editor with a strong interest in helping others share their voices online.
