This course is based upon the Alabama Personal Property Appraisal Manual. It is designed to introduce tax administrators, appraisers, and staff members to the process and procedures for valuing and assessing personal property in Alabama. Participants who successfully complete the course will be able to distinguish between real and personal property and address questions about exemptions. Attention will also be given to adjustments and preparation for Board of Equalization Hearings
