Judges for Student Competitions
Can you serve as a judge for the student poster competition during the Poster Session & Social at the Perdido Beach Resort on Thursday, September 5th from 5:30-7:30? This is an approximately 60-minute commitment where you will be paired with 1-2 other judges to evaluate 3 to 4 student posters. Note: you cannot serve as a judge if you are a student. You will be contacted by email with more details.

  • **Student Registration: To qualify for student registration, you must provide proper student identification, including a Full Time Status Confirmation Form with the signature of your major professor and a photocopy/digital scan of the front of your current Student ID Card. The Full Time Status Confirmation Form can be downloaded from the ALWRC website under the Student section – instructions for submitting this information can be found on the form. Those not providing proper documentation by 8/5/2024will be required to pay the full rate and will not be allowed to participate in the student standard oral, poster, and lightning talk competitions.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations MUST be made in writing and received no later than August 5, 2024. After this date, no refunds will be issued. All cancellations receiving refunds will be assessed a $50 administrative fee. Substitute attendees will be allowed in lieu of cancellations. To cancel, please contact the Office of Professional and Continuing Education at opce@auburn.edu and reference the Alabama Water Resources Conference.
    Auburn University reserves the right to make adjustments, substitutions, postponements and/or cancellations to the published schedule with or without notice.
  • Accessibility: This Conference/Symposium is designed to be accessible to all. If you have any accessibility needs, please be sure to note those in the space above on this form.
  • Assistance with Registration: If you need assistance with your registration, please call (334) 844-5100.
  • Hotel Reservations: To reserve a room at the Perdido Beach Resort, for the special conference rate of $125 + tax/per night and up, please call 1-800-634-8001, mention the Alabama Water Resources Conference, and use the booking ID Code you receive in your registration confirmation email. The deadline for securing rooms at this rate is 8/5/2024.

Sponsorship Options:

In 2024, the ALWRC will offer 4 levels of sponsorship:

  • Platinum* - $2,000+ - includes your company name/logo on the printed agenda, the registration desk sponsor poster, during session break slideshows, and 2 full registrations.
  • Gold* - $1,500 – includes your company name/logo on the printed agenda, the registration desk sponsor poster, during session break slideshows, and 1 full registration.
  • Silver - $1,000 - includes your company name/logo on the printed agenda, the registration desk sponsor poster, and during session break slideshows
  • Bronze - $750 – includes your company name/logo on the printed agenda and registration desk sponsor poster

Important information for Sponsors:

*Platinum and Gold sponsors are eligible for an Exhibitor table. Space is limited, 15 spots available.

Registration is not included with either the Silver or Bronze level sponsorship.

If you are a Bronze or Silver Sponsor AND would like to register an attendee:

  1. Fill out the registration form and select the desired sponsorship level.
  2. Pay for sponsorship and submit.
  3. Return to a new registration form and fill out registration for the attendee.
