The Mediterranean Studies Symposium, sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and its local partners, will be held in Alghero, Sardinia, June 6 – 7, 2026. The official language of the symposium will be English (even though each session’s Q&A can be conducted in the language most comfortable for the presenter and its audience).

Cancellation and Refund Information
If a registration is canceled for any reason, the individual or organization making the original tuition payment will receive:
(1) a refund of 50%, if the cancellation request is received in writing less than 90 days of the start of the session, but before the start date;
(2) no refund for a 'No Show' or for a cancellation request received 30 days or less from the start date.
Note:
A registration may be transferred to another person for a $25 fee. Auburn University reserves the right to cancel courses due to low enrollment. If a course is canceled due to low enrollment, registration fees are refunded in full.
Registration Fee Options
Advertised registration fees are 180 Euro; 95 Euro for students.
Due to registration system constraints, these fees will be billed and collected in US dollars at a rate of $200 for registration and $100 for students.
Actual exchange rate cost for fees in Euro will be reflected in your credit card statement.
