Create lovely works of art as you navigate the basics of color theory, composition and design. Discover the joy of working with acrylics as you explore various mixing and application techniques. Work from a still-life or your imagination. Beginners to intermediate will gain dexterity in brush work and paint application. No matter your ability you'll push this medium to its limits and experience the fun, ease and lack of boundaries this course offers. Materials required.

List of required class materials: Heavy body paints in the tube.
Recommended brands: Liquitex, Golden Paints or Master's Touch - Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Ultramarine Blue, Titanium White, Ivory Black, Paynes Gray, Hooker or Sap Green, and Yellow Ochre or a comparable decent quality acrylic paint set.
Primed stretched Canvas (8 x 10) and/or (11 x 14)
Quality Synthetic or natural hair brushes for acrylic painting (Flat sizes # 10, 8 and 4) Round size (#8)
Liner Brush (# 2) or a set of synthetic/natural hair brushes for acrylic painting
Apron (Optional, but recommended)
