The Alabama Association of Assessing Officials (AAAO) offers pre-conference courses at their Summer conference.  Topics vary each year. These are tested courses.

This course provides a practical breakdown of Alabama’s Property Tax Plan for Equalization and how it guides the appraisal and assessment process across the state. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of valuation standards, equalization requirements, and the application of policies and procedures used to promote fair and equitable property assessments.
