This annual in-person CE training seminar is for tax professionals seeking information on new tax laws, current tax laws in effect, and ethics. This course includes instruction by a qualified tax instructors in the field of taxation law and ethics. The course attendees each receive the annually updated 'National Income Tax Workbook' from the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation. Accreditation for CPAs, EAs, CFPs, attorneys, and all tax practitioners.

Listed below is additional information you may find helpful: Due to COVID-19, expanded classroom seating and social distancing is expected in the seminar. Masks must be worn at all times in the building and classroom. No buffet style food service will be allowed. Beverage service only all day to include coffee, bottled water, hot tea, and soda. You are welcome to bring your own snacks to the classroom. Table linens will be changed for each day and all bathrooms and surfaces will be cleaned daily. No books will be distributed. Each registrant will receive a copy of the National Income Tax Workbook through the Cloud. You may download to your computer, laptop, or print for the seminar if you wish. If you purchased a hard cover book for a $45 fee, the book will be shipped to you prior to the start of the program. Go west on Cumberland Boulevard to the fourth traffic light at Cobb Parkway/US 41. Turn right on Cobb Parkway and go 7/10ths of a mile (5 traffic lights) to Galleria Drive. Turn right onto Galleria Drive. The Cobb Galleria Centre’s main (rotunda) entrance is located immediately on the right. An additional parking facility is located directly across Galleria Drive. IF TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON I-75: If traveling south on I-75 take Exit 258/Cumberland Boulevard. Go west on Cumberland Boulevard to the fourth traffic light at Cobb Parkway/US 41. Turn right on Cobb Parkway and go 7/10ths of a mile (5 traffic lights) to Galleria Drive. Turn right onto Galleria Drive. DIRECTIONS FROM I-285 EASTBOUND: If traveling east on I-285 take Exit 19/Cobb Parkway/US 41. At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Cobb Parkway and move into the left-hand turning lane. At the first traffic light turn left onto Galleria Drive. The Cobb Galleria Centre’s main (rotunda) entrance is located immediately on the right. An additional parking facility is located directly across Galleria Drive. DIRECTIONS FROM I-285 WESTBOUND: If traveling west on I-285 take Exit 20/Cobb Parkway/US 41. Continue to exit using the lane marked Cobb Parkway. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp turn left onto Cobb Parkway and go under I-285. Make a left hand turn at the second traffic light onto Galleria Drive. The Cobb Galleria Centre’s main (rotunda) entrance is located immediately on the right. An additional parking facility is located directly across Galleria Drive. Parking - Parking is available on site for a fee of $7 per day. Refund Policy o Cancellation requests, made in writing, 10 days prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee. o Cancellation requests, made in writing, less than 10 days prior to the start of the program will receive a 50% refund. o No refunds will be made for NO SHOW participants. o Requests to transfer your registration to another person or another seminar site will be accommodated, when possible, for an additional $25.00 fee. Chris Bird, EA, CFP

Chris Bird has been in the financial business for over 30 years. He started his career with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Business Administration. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Enrolled Agent (EA) designation. Chris was a Senior IRS agent for 16 years. He began conducting courses after leaving the IRS and started his own company, Chris Bird Seminars, Inc. Chris went on to conduct over 125 seminars a year on accounting, financial planning, wealth building, residential rental property ownership, and tax strategies for the real estate and financial industries nationwide. He has presented his widely acclaimed courses multiple times at NAR conventions and most recently presented at Howard Brinton’s StarPower™ Conference. Chris was an adjunct instructor at the University of Illinois in tax law for over 20 years. He is a Senior CRS Instructor and a Senior Faculty Instructor for the Realtors Land Institute. And he also teaches at all the Illinois tax seminars currently using the National Income Tax Workbook also used in the Auburn University programs. Chris has a unique way of making a tough subject (taxation instruction) entertaining and enlightening for our audience.
