Date: Friday, August 18th, 2023 AREC Instructor Training : Navigating the Tools of Our Trade Instructor: Theresa Barnabei Location: Alabama Real Estate Commission Training Room 1201 Carmichael Way, Montgomery, AL Check-in for pre-registered participants only: 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. (CST) Class time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 12:30 to 3:30 PM (Only if instructor elects for a short 30-minute lunch) The registration fee includes boxed lunches, snacks, drinks and breaks. Directions: From I-85 North: Take the Perry Hill Road Exit from I-85. Get into the center lane and take a right onto Perry Hill Road. Immediately get into the left turn lane on Perry Hill. Turn left at the traffic light onto Carmichael Road. Travel approximately ¼ of a mile. After passing a fire station on your right, turn right onto Carmichael Way (the next street on the right). The AREC parking lot is immediately on your left. (Although the building faces Carmichael Road, it can only be accessed from Carmichael Way.) From I-85 South: Take the Perry Hill Road Exit from I-85. Take a left onto Perry Hill Road. Cross over the interstate and take a left at the second traffic light onto Carmichael Road. Travel approximately ¼ of a mile. After passing a fire station on your right, turn right onto Carmichael Way (the next street on the right). The AREC parking lot is immediately on your left. (Although the building faces Carmichael Road, it can only be accessed from Carmichael Way.) Completion of this training will provide six of the twelve hours needed to renew instructor approval in 2023. Remember, these hours are not interchangeable with CE hours that are needed to renew your broker license. These CE hours are only applied toward the renewal of your instructor approval. Make plans to attend this instructor training and acquire not only the hours needed for instructor renewal but also valuable information and knowledge that can be used in the classroom. Additional Information: Registrations received by fax, email or telephone REQUIRE Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express or purchase order number for payment. Auburn University must receive both the registration form and fee from participants in order to be considered registered. Remember the early registration deadline is Friday, August 4th @ 4:45 PM, two weeks prior to the workshops. After that, participants will incur an additional $30 late registration fee. Participants who register less than five working days prior to the workshop date should do so by phone to insure confirmation of registration. If you have any special requests for the lunch order or have a food allergy, please let us know upon enrollment by calling 334-844-5100. Cancellations and Refunds: Written refund requests received no later than 7 days prior to the program will result in a refund of fees less a $15.00 administration charge. Refund requests received after that cannot be honored. A substitute participant may be designated in place of a registrant who cannot attend. Auburn University and the Office of Professional and Continuing Education reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or combine workshop sections, to limit registration, or to change instructors or speakers.
