This ASL I class will cover the alphabet, numbers, people, places, and everyday vocabulary related to things such as emotions, foods, colors, etc. Calendars and time will be covered as well. Participants will learn sentence structure and techniques required to comfortably express and receive messages in American Sign Language. By signing with others in the class, participants will learn new techniques. By the end of the course, participants will be able to carry on simple conversations using sign language.
