The United States has the most expensive healthcare system in the world-yet ranks between 35th and 47th in health outcomes. Why does it cost more for less care? This course examines the origins and evolution of the American healthcare system, focusing on Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the system functions, who benefits from it, and where it may be headed in the future.
