This seminar is being sponsored by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences at Auburn University. After the Hunt: Year-Round Wildlife Management will feature talks from several professional wildlife professionals in Alabama covering topics such as summer forages for deer, forestry management practices to increase habitat value, predator management, camera surveys, controlling invasive plants, wild pig management, and proper construction and maintenance of roads and culverts. Essentially, everything thing you need to be doing in the “off season” to make the most of the next hunting season. The seminar will have a practical approach; focusing mainly on what you can do to manage your hunting property or lease. “After the Hunt: Year-Round Wildlife Management” will provide sound, science-based information for those who are serious about managing their property or hunting lease. Registration is only $20 and includes lunch.
