Develop confidence and skill as a new driver through discussions of driving related topics such as orientation to the vehicle, traffic laws, street driving, and vehicle efficiency. The course combines classroom instruction with small group driving experience in an attempt to prepare students for the driver's test and the road ahead. Parents are encouraged to attend the first class meeting for a brief overview of the course. At this time, students must be between the ages of 15-18 years old and have a valid learner's permit to enroll. *Please note, this course is meant to prepare students for the road test through experience behind the wheel and can also be used for insurance purposes.
