Thank you for registering for "AAPPA/Group 4 Ethics in the Public Sector" on August 19, 2022 in Auburn, Alabama. If you are interested in attending the class virtual then you must: 1. Have a camera/mic on your electronic device 2. Attend class during the designated times/dates (not a pre-recorded class) 3. Be fully engaged during the course with no other activities or distractions in the background 4. Complete Online Exam at the end of the class . For more information pertaining to the virtual course offering, please contact the GEDI Training Specialist, McKenzie Cooper, at mckenzie.cooper@auburn.edu. This class will begin Friday, August 19th at 9:00 AM and conclude after the course exam at the Center for Advanced Science, Innovation and Commerce (CASIC) building, located in the AU Research Park at 559 DeVall Drive in Auburn, Alabama. If you are attending the class online then the exam will be administered virtually. There is plenty of parking available at the CASIC facility. Please refer to the attachments for additional course and hotel information, including a list of supplies you will need to bring to class. NOTE: If you are certified with AAPPA, you do not have to sit for the exam. Also, if you are certified as a Payroll Specialist or Risk Management Specialist, you do not have to sit for the exam. The exam is only required for those who are working towards AAPPA certification. Refund and Cancellation Policy: Your registration is CONFIRMED, and payment is requested before the course start date unless you make prior arrangements. Payment can be made by credit card by calling our office, or invoices will be sent. NOTE: The University will not refund for check payments unless the agency is a registered vendor of the University. Written cancellations received fifteen (15) working days prior to the beginning of the program (on or before July 29th) will be honored with a partial refund (credit card only) of the registration, less a $50 administration fee. Due to commitments to instructors and meeting facilities, late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded or transferred to escrow. Substitutions for registered participants may be made at any time. The Center for Advanced Science, Innovation and Commerce (CASIC) is located in the AU Research Park on 559 DeVall Drive, Auburn, AL. From College Street, turn onto Donahue Drive towards campus. Take the first left road and the CASIC building will be on your left. There is plenty of parking at this facility. Check the website for recommended Lodging in the area, or email GEDI@auburn.edu for a list of hotels.

William Sauser

Dr. William Sauser is Professor of Management and Higher Education at Auburn University. His teaching and research center primarily on Principles of Management and Business Ethics, which he teaches in Auburn’s world-class Executive MBA program. Dr. Sauser earned his BS in Management and MS and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Georgia Tech. He is licensed to practice psychology in Alabama and holds two specialty diplomas from the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Sauser is a frequent consultant to private-, public-, and voluntary-sector organizations on matters of strategic planning, human resources management, business ethics, and human relations in the workplace.
