This class is designed for the clerk in the mapping department of the county property tax office. In this class, the participant will learn various mapping skills and processes such as deed investigation, mapping office management, map legends and map development. This class will replace Basic Mapping as an optional required class for Support Staff Level I.
NOTE: The class cannot be taken for continuing education in the professional certification tracks.

Thank you for registering for the Introduction to Mapping class being held on October 5-7, 2022 at the Lee County Training Center, 205 S 10th Street in Opelika AL 36801. A list of hotels in the area can be found on the website at www.auburn.edu/propertytax
This course will begin Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 at 8:30 AM and conclude on Friday,October 7th at 1:00 PM . There is plenty of parking available at this facility. Please refer to the attachments for additional course and hotel information.
NOTE: This course is not intended for those in the ACM Program. This course cannot be taken for continuing education in the professional certification tracks. If you enrolled by mistake, please email us at GEDI@auburn.edu within 5 business days to remove you from the course so payment will not be required.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Provided that space is available, receipt of the registration form constitutes registration. NOTE: The University will not refund for check payments unless the agency is a registered vendor of the University. Written cancellations, received fifteen (15) working days (on or before September 14th) prior to the beginning of the program will be honored with a partial refund (credit card only) of the registration, less a $50 administration fee. Due to commitments to instructors and meeting facilities, late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded or transferred to escrow. Substitutions for registered participants can be made at any time.

This facility has plenty of parking on the sides of the building and in the back of the building. Do not park in the cleaners parking lot next door or in the alley behind the cleaners. For further parking, check across the street at the Lee County Courthouse.Leslie Mackey
