This program will cover the Economic Development impact of Business & Industry Marketing and Attraction. Topics included are:

- Community marketing & branding
- Social media and online targeting
- Internal and extrernal support
- Identifying and engaging audiences
- Relocating and expanding businesses
As a hybrid learning opportunity, the EDAA Leadership Institute's "Business and Industry Marketing and Attraction" course will be offered via online webinar and via in-person attendance at the Auburn Center for Developing Industries (ACDI), which is located at 1500 Pumphrey Ave, Auburn, AL 36832. The online webinar's hyperlink will be distributed before the event. For hybrid course offerings, GEDI requires a minimum of 15 participants for the in-person format. In instances where this minimum is not met, the course will be offered entirely online, and registrants will be notified. Please review the attached document, "C221027," for additional details.
Registration fees are payable to AUBURN UNIVERSITY. If payment has not been made, please request an invoice to attach to the check, or call our office to make payment by credit card.
Provided that space is available, receipt of the registration by online enrollment, email, mail, phone or fax constitutes registration. NOTE: The University will not refund for check payments unless the agency is a registered vendor of the University. Written cancellations received fifteen (15) working days prior to the beginning of the program (on or before Oct 6th) will be honored with a partial refund (credit card only) of the registration fee, less an administrative fee of $50. Due to commitments to instructors and meeting facilities, late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded. Substitutions for registered participants may be made at any time.
