This course explores ethics and basic legal responsibilities associated with managing in the public sector. Maintaining a balance between how the government administrator works and what the expectations are of the government agency for which they work is discussed in this course. The course will also address the ethical tensions that may arise in sustaining that balance. The "Tenets if the ICMA Code of Ethics" will be explored in the course and these tenets are also incorporated into all of the courses.

This course will begin Thursday, December 15th at 10:00 AM and conclude on Friday, December 16th at 12:00 PM at the Center for Advance Science, Innovation, and Commerce (CASIC) building, located in the AU Research Park at 559 DeVall Drive in Auburn, Alabama. There is plenty of parking available at this facility. Please refer to the attachments for additional course and hotel information.
Payment (if not already made) is payable to AUBURN UNIVERSITY. Please request an invoice to attach to the check, or call our office to make payment by credit card.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Provided that space is available, receipt of the registration constitutes the participant's registration. NOTE: The University will not refund for check payments unless the agency is a registered vendor of the University. Written cancellations received fifteen (15) working days prior to the beginning of the program (on or before November 24th) will be honored with a partial refund (credit card only) of the registration, less a $50 administration fee. Due to commitments to instructors and meeting facilities, late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded or transferred to escrow. Substitutions for registered participants may be made at any time.
