Participants will learn the importance of their positions as local government administrators in the planning, advancing and marketing of their community. Topics include: strategic and comprehensive planning, community leadership, community engagement, technology and development, and community branding. Policy development and implementation will also be discussed.

This course will begin Thursday, Feb 23rd at 10:00 AM and conclude on Friday, Feb 24th at 12:00 PM at the Center for Advance Science, Innovation, and Commerce (CASIC) building, located in the AU Research Park at 559 DeVall Drive in Auburn, Alabama. There is plenty of parking available at this facility. Please refer to the attachments for additional course and hotel information.
Registration fees are payable to AUBURN UNIVERSITY. If you have not yet made payment, please request an invoice to be attached to the check, or call our office to make payment by credit card.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Provided that space is available, receipt of the registration constitutes the participant's registration. NOTE: The University will not refund for check payments unless the agency is a registered vendor of the University. Written cancellations received fifteen (15) working days prior to the beginning of the program (on or before February 2nd) will be honored with a partial refund (credit card only) of the registration, less a $50 administration fee. Due to commitments to instructors and meeting facilities, late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded or transferred to escrow. Substitutions for registered participants may be made at any time.
