This program is a “hands on” tutorial that will teach Excel’s most important features step-by-step and mouse click by mouse click. The class includes six lessons with each lesson including exercises built around using Excel in basic settings. This course also contains a Keyboard Shortcut Menu that allows for quicker movement throughout a spreadsheet without using a mouse.
Prerequisites: Students should have a basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating System as well as basic familiairty with internet navagation.
Computer Requirements: Student will need to provide a laptop with power adaptor that is installed with Microsoft Office (Excel) 2016 (preferred), Microsoft Office (Excel) 2010 (minimum requirement). This class will begin Wednesday, April 19th at 8:30 AM and conclude on Friday, April 21st at 1:00 PM at the Lee County Training Facility; located at 205 South 10th Street in Opelika, AL. There is no hotel room block at this facility. Parking is limited at this facility. There is parkiing on the sides as well as the back - if additional parking is needed you can park at thte larger side parking lot located beside teh EMA building. Also watch for emails 2-3 weeks in advance of course start date with information regarding the setup of your laptop for this course.
Special Requirements: Please refer to the attachment for a list of requirements. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A LAPTOP with you to class that has a power adaptor and surge protector, and specified software. PLEASE BE SURE it is installed with MS EXCEL and that it is licensed for your use. The attachment should answer all your questions about this.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Your registration is CONFIRMED, and payment is requested before the course start date unless you make prior arrangements. Payment can be made by credit card by calling our office, or invoices will be sent. Written or email cancellations received 15 working days prior to the beginning of the class (on or before March 29th) will be honored with a partial refund of the registration fee, less an assessed administrative fee ($50). Late cancellations or non-attendance are non-refundable, and payment is expected in full. Substitutions can be made at any time.

Lee County Training Facility
This facility has plenty of parking on the sides of the building and in the back of the building. Do not park in the cleaners parking lot next door or in the alley behind the cleaners. For further parking, check across the street at the Lee County Courthouse.
