Licensing Administration and Registration

This course provides knowledge on the legal impact of the Alabama legislative process, Department of Revenue and other authorities on the licensing of motor vehicles and collection processes for ad valorem tax of motor vehuicles, as well as licensing and registration requirements for motor vehicles. Also addressed are tthe minimm standards as established by the Examiners of Public Accounts.

Prerequisite of two courses: Introduction to License Administration (or the former; Introduction to Licensing Processes) AND Titles

Thank you for registering for "License Administration and Registration" on October 18-20, 2023. The pre-requisites to take this course are Introduction to License Administration (formerly Intro to Licensing Processes) AND Titles. If you have not taken BOTH of these courses, please call our office within 5 business days to determine whether you will be eligible to take this course.

This class will begin Wednesday, October 18 at 8:30 AM and conclude on Friday, October 20 at 1:00 PM at the Homewood Suites at 7800 Eastchase Parkway in Montgomery, Alabama. There is plenty of parking available at this facility. Please refer to the attachments for additional course and hotel information, including a list of supplies you will need to bring to class.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Your registration is CONFIRMED, and payment is requested before the course start date unless you make prior arrangements. Payment can be made by credit card by calling our office, or invoices will be sent. Written or email cancellations received 15 working days prior to the beginning of the class (on or before September 27th) will be honored with a partial refund of the registration fee, less an assessed administrative fee ($50). Late cancellations or non-attendance are non-refundable, and payment is expected in full. Substitutions can be made at any time.
