This course will introduce participants to techniques and in-state resources, such as accelerators and incubators, to stimulate local entrepreneurship as a means of economic development for a community.

Presented by the Government & Economic Development Institute (GEDI) at Auburn University, the "Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development" course, a component of the GEDI-EDAA Leadership Institute certification program, will be held November 9, 2023, online via Zoom and in-person at the Lee County Training Facility, which is located at 205 South 10th Street, Opelika, AL 36801. The course’s sessions will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on this date.
