Understanding the Tax Collection Function

Designed specifically for Tax Collectors and Revenue Commissioners. It focuses upon the legal and financial responsibilities of the Tax Collector as provided in the Code of Alabama. Emphasis will be placed upon the collection process, financial records and reports, and the receipt, control and disbursement of tax monies.

Thank you for registering for "Understanding the Tax Collection Function" on November 15-17, 2023. This class will begin Wednesday, November 15th at 8:30 AM and conclude on Friday, November 17th 1:00 PM at the Cullman Economic Development Agency, 200 1st Avenue NE, Cullman AL 35055. There is plenty of parking available at this facility.

Please refer to the attachments for additional course and hotel information, including a list of supplies you will need to bring to class. There is NO hotel room block.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

Your registration is CONFIRMED, and payment is requested before the course start date unless you make prior arrangements. Payment can be made by credit card by calling our office, or invoices will be sent. Written or email cancellations received 15 working days prior to the beginning of the class will be honored with a partial refund of the registration fee, less an assessed administrative fee ($50). Late cancellations (on or before October 25) or non-attendance are non-refundable, and payment is expected in full. Substitutions can be made at any time.
