AMROA Winter Conference 2023

The purpose is to train municipal and county officials in revenue collection and management, modern management practices, and the legal environment for local government revenue management.

Thank you for registering for the Alabama Municipal Revenue Officers Association Winter Conference, on December 7, 2023 . The conference will begin Thursday, December 7th at 8:30 AM, and conclude on Friday, December 8th at 12:00 noon at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center at 241 South College Street in Auburn, Alabama. There is plenty of parking available at this facility.

Early bird rates for the conference are available until November 6, 2023. The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center has also extended a special rate for those attending the conference. This rate is available until November 6, 2023 or until all rooms in the block have been reserved.

This year's conference will be offered in a hybrid format with in-person attendance in Auburn as well as online attendance through Zoom. If you need to attend the conference online, please email gedi@auburn.edu requesting the online attendance. The Zoom link will be made available soon closer to the conference date. To be able to provide a virtual option for attendees in need of this service, there is an additional audio-visual cost. Because of this, the virtual option is listed at a higher rate. These virtual spots are limited. In addition, in person and virtual registrations are not transferable. You will not be allowed to change from one program to the other due to contractual obligations with the hotel on headcounts for each type of program and costs associated with it.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Your registration is CONFIRMED, and payment is requested before the course start date unless you make prior arrangements. Payment can be made by credit card by calling our office, or invoices will be emailed to you to submit for payment. NOTE: The University will not refund for check payments unless the agency is a registered vendor of the University. Written cancellations received fifteen (15) working days prior to the beginning of the program (on or before November 16th) will be honored with a partial refund (credit card only), less a $50 administrative processing fee. Due to commitments to speakers and meeting facilities, late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded, and full payment is required. Substitutions for registered participants may be made at any time.Written or email cancellations received 15 working days prior to the beginning of the program (on or before November 16th) will be honored with a partial refund of the registration fee, less an assessed administrative fee ($50). Late cancellations or non-attendance are non-refundable, and payment is expected in full. Substitutions can be made at any time.
