IAAO 102: Income Approach to Valuation

This course is designed to provide the students with an understanding and working knowledge of the procedures and techniques required to estimate the market value of vacant or improved properties by the income approach. The material covers real estate finance and investment, capitalization methods and techniques, analysis of income and expenses to estimate operating income, selection of capitalization rates, and application of the approach. Recommended Prerequisite: IAAO 101: Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal Manual Refund and Cancellation Policy: Provided that space is available, receipt of the registration form constitutes registration. NOTE: The University will not refund for check payments unless the agency is a registered vendor of the University. Written cancellations received thirty (30) working days (on or before November 6th) prior to the beginning of the program will be honored with a partial refund (credit card only) of the registration, less a $50 administration fee. Due to commitments to instructors and meeting facilities, late cancellations or non-attendance will not be refunded or transferred to escrow. Substitutions for registered participants can be made at any time.
