This course is intended to be a comprehensive, interactive program to introduce entry-level map maintenance personnel and assessment technicians to the field of cadastral mapping. Students are presented basic mapping principles and techniques and are expected to demonstrate basic skills that will allow them to plot deeded descriptions in both the metes and bounds land description system and the Public Land Survey System. Recommended Prerequisite: IAAO 101.

Lee County Training Facility

Parking is limited at this facility. There is parking on both sides of the building and behind the building. If additional parking is needed, you can park in the larger side lot located across the street next to the EMA building. DO NOT park at the dry cleaners or in the or in the alley behind their building.
