This course will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss and compare various types of benefits, methods of financing benefits, and various benefit options. This is one of five courses in the AAPPA Risk Management Certification Program, and meets 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p,m. on the day of the course offering.

If you are taking this course to earn certification in either the Risk Management Certification Program or in the AAPPA HR or Specialist Certification Program, you must take and pass the exam. If you are already certified in either AAPPA or Payroll Specialist, AND you are only taking this course for CE hours in either of those programs, then you do not need to take the exam. If you are already certified as a Risk Management Specialist with AAPPA, you can only repeat this course every five (5) years for CE hours, and do not need to retake the exam. This course may count simultaneously for all three certification programs (AAPPA HR or Specialist, ACPS, ACRMS).
