GEDI/EDAA: Keys to Extraordinary Results in Ordinary Communities

GEDI Executive Director Emeritus Dr. Joe Sumners returns to campus to share principles and strategies for creating Extraordinary Results in Ordinary Communities. Students will have the chance to learn from an expert in the field of economic and community development-and benefit from Dr. Sumners’ 30-plus years of experience working in and with Alabama communities. The course will also showcase Alabama communities that have worked together to build on their local assets to create extraordinary community and economic outcomes. Students will also hear from panels of speakers from these communities.
