This course will provide participants with knowledge on the history of mapping. Mappers in the state will gain further knowledge of the purposes for aerial photography, learn questions that need to be asked in order to achieve the right type of photography, and how to recognize poor photography. Mappers will perform the skill of drawing a base manuscript based on knowledge that is learned concerning how a base manuscript is created, how it is used and what is the purpose of the base manuscript.

The facility is also known as the Bennie G. Adkins Meeting Center. Parking is limited at this facility. There is parking on both sides of the building and behind the building. If additional parking is needed, you can park in the larger side lot located across the street next to the EMA building.
