This course explores the external partnerships that can aid and expand the impactful work of the county commission. Success in county government is most often a function of county commissioners' close coordination with community groups, local charitable organizations, educational stakeholders, law enforcement, and many other jurisdictional partners. By introducing participants to statewide resources and investigating local case studies, this course best positions the commissioner to deliver on behalf of their constituents.
